Description
Coastal forests are home to many species not found in the interior Pine Barrens. Explore abandoned farmland and salt marsh impoundments, looking for plants and wildlife adapted to these habitats. You will also be looking for migrating waterfowl and wading birds while we explore the marsh habitat. Bug spray with DEET is recommended. Bring your binoculars if you have them. They will have a limited number of loaners available.
