Our Gang Players Presents "101 Dalmatians"!

Our Gang Players proudly presents the 4th show in their 38th season, 101 Dalmatians, performed by the Junior Division and opening Friday, August 14th, at 7:00 pm and running through Monday, August 17th. With a high-spirited score and lovable characters, this show is certain to charm and delight all audiences! The adorable spotted dogs and larger-than-life villainess help fill the stage with 104 budding performers!

There are talented children from the age of 4 up to age 12 who can't wait to share their talents with you!  Watch them sing, dance, and bring this fun, exciting, and very spotted show to life.  Go on an adventure with Perdita, Pongo, and the London Dogs who are out to save all of the lovable pups from Cruella de Vil and her henchmen. 





There will be refreshments available in the lobby, as well as a gift basket raffle & a FABULOUS VACATION GIVEAWAY to Walt Disney World worth $2600!  Be sure to bring some extra pocket money to take your chance at winning one of these fabulous prizes while supporting Our Gang programming.

Our Gang Players
Our Gang Players is open to anyone wishing to experience the joy of performing regardless of age or ability. The first show in December 1977 was performed at the Ethel Jacobsen School in Surf City.  Subsequently, the troupe moved into the Bingo Hall at the Barnegat Light Volunteer Fire Company where they remained until 1991. Limited space and the growing number of children, teens and adults necessitated their relocation to the historic Surflight Theatre in Beach Haven. In 2000, change of ownership and management forced another move, this time into the historic Barnegat High School, known today as the Elizabeth V. Edwards School. In 2006, the Our Gang Players, Inc. Board of Directors decided to expand the troupe's production locations, to include a number of new venues. The Stafford Township Arts Center's OceanFirst Theater allows spectacular seating for 808 patrons. The Holiday Inn in Manahawkin has created an opportunity for Our Gang to offer a dinner theater experience. And in 2012, the Surflight Theater welcomed them back to host their Winter productions. Today, the troupe is 300+ members strong and still growing.

Junior Division
This division is comprised of all children in the 1st through 6th grades. Auditions for Junior Division performances are open to any interested children in the age group. At auditions, parents can register and fill out the required paperwork, including a "code of conduct" form, and pay the applicable fee (approx $50-$75, depending on the show). Performers will be asked to participate in basic fundraising and promotion of their show. Any Junior Division-age child can attend our classes and summer camps.

Teen Division
This division is comprised of teens currently attending High School grades 7 through 12. Auditions for summer shows (and sometimes adult-division shows, too) are open to anyone in the Teen Division. At auditions, parents can register and fill out the required paperwork, including a "code of conduct" form, and pay the applicable fee (approx $50-$75, depending on the show). Performers will be asked to participate in basic fundraising and promotion of their show.

Adult Division
The Adult Division is for anyone who has completed High School or is at least 18 years of age. Auditions for summer shows are open to anyone in the Adult Division. At auditions, performers will register and fill out the required paperwork, including a "code of conduct" form, and pay the applicable fee (approx $50-$75, depending on the show). Performers will be asked to participate in basic fundraising and promotion of their show.
