Stafford Township is hosting its annual Fall Harvest Festival and a Community Day in conjunction with the Autumn Wine Festival on October 18th and 19th! This will be a fun-filled weekend, with many activities, vendors, crafts, and more!
The events are held outdoors at the Manahawkin Lake Park, located at Route 9 and Lakeshore Drive in Stafford. The Fall Harvest Festival will be held on Saturday, October 18th, and includes many fun fall activities. It runs from 11am until 5pm. Festivities include: Craft and Food Vendors throughout the Park, Halloween Parade and Costume Contest at Noon, Hayrides, Pumpkin Carving Contest, Scarecrow Making, Games and Rides, Jalapeno Eating Contest, Bonfire at dusk with a family-oriented movie in the park. Bring blankets and chairs. Admission to the Hayrides is a non-perishable food item to benefit local food pantries.
On Sunday, October 19th, the Community Day is scheduled for 11am to 5pm. There will be entertainment, and food and craft vendors.
The Autumn Wine Festival will be running both days from 12pm to 5pm, and draws a large crowd! Tickets can be purchased online for this event and only those 21 and over can enjoy the tasting. Those under 21 years of age or designated drivers are free. Each paid admission includes a commemorative glass to use for tasting. Take advantage of the cooler fall weather to have family fun, taste some wine, and enjoy the great outdoors!
