Here's an easy craft and game in one! Make the tree and ornaments with your Mini Macs, then let them play the game during the holidays. It's a take on Pin the Tail on the Donkey, using ornaments on a tree.
Supplies:
- Large piece of green felt
- Various colored felt
- Poster board or large sheet of paper
- Craft glue
Instructions:
- Cut the green felt into the shape of a fir tree or tall triangle. (If you have any brown felt, you can make a trunk for your tree).
- Spread craft glue on poster board or paper where you want to place the tree and paste on the tree.
- Cut ornament shapes out of felt in various colors, such as red, blue, purple, gold.
To play the game, blindfold the player, spin the player around, then let them try to get their ornament on the tree. No need for glue or tape, as the felts stick to each other. You could also let the players write their initials on the ornaments. Have fun!
